You know that it's no ordinary barbecue when three renowned chefs promise a six-course menu featuring Tajima Crossbred Wagyu, the highest quality beef in the world. What What happens when two amazingly gifted chefs come together? You get a gastronomic selection of innovative and irresistible delicacies. Following the success of its first installation, Friends of Mitzo is back for a second round with in-house chef Nicky Ng and chef Petrina Loh (of Morsels) as they whip up a six-course meal. Experience the brilliant collaboration between modern Cantonese and progressive fusion with dishes such as gin-cured Red Emperor snapper, Sakura ginseng chicken two ways, and a duck duo (pictured) comprising of soy brined slow poached duck breast and black truffle crispy roast duck.

Sands for Singapore Charity Festival 2017


When September 8 to 10

What The Sands for Singapore Charity Festival held by Marina Bay Sands is back this year and it kick-starts with a concert by The Sichuan Orchestra of China, helmed by Singaporean Darrell Ang. The three-day festival also promises a variety of other fun and engaging programmes. Lounge leisurely at the Event Plaza over live music performances at the Sundown Picnic, or participate in the annual Play It Forward (pictured)—and Play It Forward Junior—which sees festival-goers give back to charity through games.

Dashboard Confessional Concert

What One of the biggest alternative bands from the 2000s, Dashboard Confessional is holding a concert in Singapore for the very first time. They'll be performing their well-loved songs, including Screaming Infidelities from their gold certified debut album The Places You Have Come To Fear The Most, Vindicated from the Spider-Man 2 (2004) movie, and their recent hit single Hopes Up. With leader Chris Carrabba on vocals, Scott Schoenbeck on bass, Arnon Jay on guitar and Ben Homola on drums and percussion, this is a show not to be missed.
